Specialization-Oriented R&D and Innovative Project Support
Our university aims to ensure strong and qualified participation in the 2026 TEKNOFEST competitions within the scope of the Specialization in Animal Husbandry Project and in line with the vision of the National Technology Initiative. In line with this goal, the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Special Call has been announced to support and encourage innovative student projects to be developed with a focus on the TEKNOFEST Agricultural Technologies Competition.
The TEKNOFEST Agricultural Technologies Competition aims to develop sustainable, innovative, and environmentally friendly solutions with high technology integration that contribute to the improvement of agricultural production processes. Smart agriculture applications, productivity-enhancing technologies, digital agriculture solutions, and sustainable production approaches are among the priority focus areas of the competition.
With this special call, it is aimed that project teams to be formed within our university will transform their innovative ideas into concrete projects, prepare more equipped and effectively for the TEKNOFEST process, and produce applicable and value-added outputs in the field of agricultural technologies.
Scope of Support
- Support Upper Limit: 50,000 TL
- Teams that pass the preliminary application stage in the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition (those who pass the preliminary evaluation report results and will make a project presentation) will be eligible to receive support within the scope of this call.
Who Can Apply?
Students studying at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in associate, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs can apply as a team with their academic advisors.
Points to Consider
The project topic must be compatible with one of the categories within the scope of the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition.
Only Academicians and Students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University can apply for this special call.
It is mandatory for student teams to apply with an academic advisor.
The academic advisor will take part as the Project Manager in the project. University members who have completed their education in faculty members, doctoral, medical specialization, dental specialization, veterinary specialization, or proficiency in arts can be Project Managers.
Students will take part as Researchers in the project.
Application
Teams must apply to this special call with the project title, subject, and project team they applied to the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition.
Applications can be made with more than one project and/or team. Separate support can be obtained for each project that passes the Preliminary Project Application stage within the scope of the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition, is successful in the Project Preliminary Evaluation Report Result, and is entitled to make a project presentation.
The upper limit of support for each project is determined as 50,000.00 TL including VAT.
The Project Support Application will be made by the Project Academic Advisor. The Project Petition, along with its attachments, the Project Preliminary Application Form, and the Proof Document that the application was made to the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition, must be sent by email to hayvancilikproje@mehmetakif.edu.tr by February 20, 2026, at the latest. Additionally, wet-signed forms must be submitted to our Coordination Office.

Support Conditions
If your project successfully passes the Preliminary Application stage of the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition;
The proof document must be submitted to our Coordination Office within 5 business days following the announcement of the competition results.
You will be expected to make your detailed project application through the BAP automation system. The process will be carried out by the BAP Coordination Office.
