In the 2020-2021 academic year, an online orientation meeting was held through the distance education system for our 1st-year students who registered at our Vocational School. The meeting was attended by our Vocational School's deputy directors Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Harun Öğünç and Öğr. Gör. Celal Eryiğit, the heads of our academic units Prof. Dr. Adnan Kalkan (YBS), Doç. Dr. Ali Apalı (MFY), Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Süreyya Kovacı (Gümrük İşl.), Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hüseyin Bilal Macit (Bilişim Sist.), MFY Bölümü Araştırma Görevlisi Osman Koyuncu and our student affairs staff Ebru Taner attended. In the meeting, in addition to the general information about our university and Vocational School provided by Arş. Gör. Osman Koyuncu, detailed information was given about the regulations related to the education and training processes, academic and social life, problem-solving stages, career planning opportunities, and the social facilities of our university. In the meeting, where the opportunities to benefit from the training, seminars, and career counseling services organized by our University's Career Development Application and Research Center were explained, information was given about remote access methods to library services, the MAKÜ Social application, and the opportunities to benefit from sports facilities and social facilities. At the end of the meeting, the heads of our academic units answered the questions of our students and gave them important advice. The meeting, which was recorded through the distance education system, is accessible again through the student information system for our students who could not attend or want to watch it again.
