Dear Student,

Welcome to our university. We congratulate you for choosing our university for your higher education and wish you continued success.

 

Students who are eligible to enroll in our university according to the 2025 DGS placement results can register electronically with their e-Government passwords or, if they wish, they can come to our university and complete their registration in person.

 

REGISTRATION DATES

 

- Electronic Registrations: Between September 11-15, 2025 registration will be done by logging in with e-Government passwords at www.turkiye.gov.tr and accessing the Higher Education Council section.

 

- In-Person Registrations: September 11-17, 2025 students can come to our university and complete their registration in person.

 

No documents will be requested from our students who complete their registration via e-Government.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

  1. 1- Original of the T.C. Identity card (Must be carried by the candidate.) 
  2. 2- 4 photographs sized 4.5 cm x 6 cm
  3. 3- Original or certified copy of the diploma obtained from the associate degree institution the candidate graduated from, or a newly dated graduation certificate.
  4. 4- Transcript.

INFORMATION ABOUT IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

  1. a- Candidates must apply in person for registration (except electronic registration). Registration by mail is not accepted.
  2. b- Uncertified copies or photocopies of the required documents are not accepted.
  3. c- Registration will not be done if documents are incomplete.
  4. d- Candidates who do not register within the specified dates cannot claim any rights.
  5. e- Higher education institutions may request a health board report from candidates if it is stated in the program's conditions and explanations. If not stated, a health board report cannot be requested.
  6. f- Universities are authorized to take necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false statements.

 

COURSE REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

 

Courses at our university will start on September 15, 2025. After your registration procedures, apply to the student affairs of the unit you are registered in to register for courses. You can attend courses after the course registration process.

COURSE EXEMPTION-ADAPTATION

 

Our students who have registered must apply to the unit they are registered in with a petition to which they have attached their transcripts in order to be considered exempt from the courses they have taken and passed at the higher education institutions they previously graduated from.

 

PREPARATORY CLASS

 

Candidates who register for programs with a compulsory foreign language (English) preparatory class should follow the announcements on the website of our University's School of Foreign Languages regarding the Foreign Language Placement Exam and the Foreign Language Exemption Exam at https://ydyo.mehmetakif.edu.tr/.

 

THOSE WHO CANNOT GRADUATE

 

Candidates who have gained the right to enroll in a higher education program but are at the graduation stage in an associate degree program and will take an internship, make-up, or single course exam will also be temporarily registered at higher education institutions on the specified dates. If these candidates submit their graduation documents to the higher education institution by December 31, 2025, their official registration will be completed. Temporary registrations of those who do not document their graduation by this date will be canceled, and candidates who do not make their temporary registrations on the specified dates will not be registered.
