The International Trade Community organized a trip to Port Akdeniz Middle East Port Operations Inc. on 17.04.2019. The trip was attended by Dr. Lecturer Süreyya KOVACI, Head of the International Trade / Customs Management Department, Academic Head of the International Trade Community Res. Asst. İlknur KORKMAZ and Res. Asst. Süleyman ŞEN, along with the International Trade Community. It was extremely beneficial for the students of the International Trade / Customs Management Department to see and closely get to know the port sector, which will be one of their areas of expertise and work when they graduate. As part of the trip, Port Akdeniz Middle East Port Operations Inc. was first introduced by the company employees, followed by training for the students on customs, port services, logistics activities, and technical information related to containers. The students asked questions about port services and obtained information from experts. After the training, the students were given a tour of the port area. In the port area, the students had the opportunity to see various port services such as types of containers, unloading, and loading operations on-site.
