2023-2024 Spring Semester Horizontal Transfer Announcement

Our university 2023-2024 Academic Year Spring Semester Horizontal Transfer Applications within the quotas specified in the attachment; Applications for horizontal transfer to Associate and Undergraduate Diploma Programs https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YatayGecisBasvuruFormu address ONLINE (online) will be made, and the application documents will be uploaded to the application form at the relevant extension during the application.

(There is no need to apply in person or by mail in addition to the online application.)

HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATIONS:

With General Weighted Grade Point Average; Inter-Institutional (Domestic) Same Program,
With General Weighted Grade Point Average, T.C. national students from Foreign Higher Education institutions; Inter-Institutional (Abroad) Same Program,
With General Weighted Grade Point Average; Intra-Institutional Same Program,

· With Central Placement Score (Additional Article 1); Same or Different Program is made.

APPLICATION DATES:

With General Weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) “Domestic”, “Abroad” and “Intra-Institutional” horizontal transfer applications 08 January – 06 February 2024 will be made between the dates.
With Central Placement Score (ADDITIONAL ARTICLE-1) horizontal transfer applications to the same or different program 08 January – 06 February 2024 will be made between the dates.

Our university is authorized to take necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false statements.

HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATION DOCUMENTS WITH CENTRAL PLACEMENT SCORE (ADDITIONAL ARTICLE-1)

1. Transcript (Certified) (Will be requested at final registration.)

2. Student Certificate (Newly dated e-government printout)

3. ÖSYM YKS Exam Result Document (Your score document announced by ÖSYM before placement and expressing all your score types)

4. ÖSYM YKS Placement Result Document (Document showing that you have been placed in the university you are registered to)

5. Document stating that there is no obstacle to horizontal transfer from the university they are registered to (Will be requested at final registration.)

HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATION DOCUMENTS WITHIN THE INSTITUTION ACCORDING TO GRADE POINT AVERAGE

1. Transcript; a document showing all the courses taken by the applicant from the institution he/she will leave, the grades received from these courses, and the general grade point average according to the 4-point system, (For candidates who cannot provide the grade point average according to the 4-point system, the "Higher Education Council Equivalents of Grades in the 4-point System in the 100-point System" table is used.)
