CUSTOMS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

The purpose of the Customs Management Department is to contribute to the country's foreign trade by addressing the shortage of expert personnel in the field of customs and trade. The Customs Management Department ensures that its students enter the business life with a significant advantage after graduation by implementing the 7+1 (Seven semesters of courses, one semester of professional training in the business) education model. The department's academic staff develop collaborations to support students' professional training processes in the business and to guide students effectively. Efforts are continuously made to increase collaborations with representatives who have experience in the public and private sectors.

Students can complete their professional training in the business domestically or abroad within the scope of the Erasmus+ program internship mobility. Thus, they can graduate with experience by transforming the knowledge they have gained during their education into practice. The department has agreements within the scope of the Erasmus+ program and efforts are made to further develop these agreements. The courses in the department's curriculum are continuously updated in line with evolving conditions, feedback from sector representatives, and the qualities desired to be imparted to students.
